Spring 2025 Key Dates for Students

To be prepared for the semester ahead, below are some key dates students should be aware of:
January
- January 2: Residence halls closed over break re-open at 2PM, Meal Plan resumes
- January 6: Classes Begin, Tuition/Student Account Balances Due, Part 1 of Well-Being Modules due (for incoming Spring 2025 students only)
- January 6-10: Drop/Add Period, Fitness Free Week at Ramsey
- Update as of 1/9: Drop/add will be extended until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025.

- January 20: University Holiday - Martin Luther King Jr. Day (no classes)
February
- February 27: Midterm
- February 28: Last day of classes before Spring Break, Graduation Application Deadline (via Athena)
- Undergraduate students must apply to graduate in order to be eligible to register for a ticket and participate in the Spring Undergraduate Commencement ceremony. Ticket registration will be available starting March 19 (tickets are not required for graduate ceremonies)
March
- March 3-7: Spring Break, limited bus schedule
- March 10: Classes Resume
- March 14: Part 2 of Well-Being Modules due (for incoming Spring 2025 students only)
- March 19: Spring 2025 Undergraduate Graduation Commencement Tickets Open (tickets are not required for graduate ceremonies)
- March 19-20: Grad Fair
April
- April 2: Deadline for Spring 2025 graduates to register for their field seating at Undergraduate Commencement
- April 3: Withdrawal Deadline
- April 12: G-Day (Spring Football Game)
- April 28: Classes End
- April 29: Reading Day
- April 30 - May 6: Final Exams
May
- May 7: Limited bus service begins (until summer classes begin)
- May 8: Graduate Commencement at Stegman Coliseum
- Master's/Specialist: 10:00 a.m
- Doctoral: 2:30 p.m
- May 9: Undergraduate Commencement at Sanford Stadium, 7:30PM
- This ceremony will be broadcast live on the Commencement homepage starting at 7:25 p.m
- May 9 or 10: Spring Meal Plans end (an update will be provided closer to the end of the semester)
- May 13: Spring Grades available in Athena, Summer Classes begin
